STRUCTURE X RULES
Featuring 8 exceptional acts, where only TOP 4 will earn the chance to call out the group or soloist they want to battle ensuring an exciting and unpredictable atmospher!
ACT ONE: STAGE - Theatrical Masterpieces
Step into a world where every performance is a narrative. Enjoy visually stunning displays that merge hip hop dance with creative props, lighting and projections.
CREWS: Each crew will consist of 5-15 company members where they have an option to utilise a set of lighting configuration, props if they wish to use and music length of 5-7 minutes will be given for them to showcase their crew.
SOLOIST: Each Artist will have an option to utilise a set of lighting configurations, props if they wish to use and music length of 3-5 minutes will be given for them to showcase their crew.
ALL SHOWCASES WILL BE JUDGED BY INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS!
All crews and soloists will be judged using a scoring points system with the TOP 4 selected and those with the highest score having the option to callout the crew or soloists first.
Storytelling, Use of stage, Musicality, Use of Lighting, Concept and delivery.
ACT TWO: CALLOUT ROUND - RAGE MODE | 1 ROUND
The lights shift, the stage strips down and the gloves come off. It's Rage mode 1 vs 1 and 5 vs 5 freestyle battles, where raw technique, control and adaptability are king and a live deejay will be providing the music.
CREWS: Crews will have the capability to keep the same battle team of 5 members or change members through the stages as they progress.
TOP 4: This will consist of two rounds for both crews and soloists and judged by the audience.
MUSIC: Provided by a live deejay | Crew Battles will be Hip Hop Music | Solo's will be a Mixed Genre's
ACT THREE: FINALS - THE ULTIMATE HYBRID SHOWDOWN
The excitement culminates in our grand final, where finalists blend storytelling with freestyle skills to battle for the championship title. Only those who excel in both reals will prevail!
Competitors must incorporate both storytelling and freestyle in the final. This will consist of 3 rounds with the final round being concept round where both crews and soloists must translate the concept picked by the audience.
